[ID 20000130.001] Tk issue

This is a bug report for perl from root@porky.devel.redhat.com,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.26 running under perl 5.00503.

#!/usr/bin/perl -w
#
# ok, this code *should* work - for some reason, Tk does not seem
# load properly at run time. This code was designed to first see
# if it is an X environment, then if so load Tk at run time. As
# far as I can tell, it loads Tk and does import the symbols, but
# it just breezes through MainLoop - is this a perl thing or
#  a Tk thing?

if ($ENV{DISPLAY}) { # lets see if they even want Tk
    print "Ok, checking for TK\n"; # check to see if Tk is installed;
    eval { require Tk; }; # change to Tk2 to confirm this works
    if ($@) { # uh oh
	print "Tk not installed!\n";
	exit;
    }
    print "Tk installed\n"; # yay
    Tk->import(); # import routines (yes I read the FAQ)
} else {
    print "No display, returning\n"; # not a X enviro
    exit;
}

# use Tk; # uncomment this to see the below code actually work right

my $mw = new MainWindow; # change this to MainWindbleh to confirm that
		         # this is indeed a valid function
$mw->Button(-text => "unF!", -command => sub { exit; })->pack();
MainLoop;

print "Oh no!\n";
