Is anybody ever going to write a STOP block? Seems to me that if it's
something that only occurs in a compiler module, it doesn't much matter
what we call it. On the other hand, INIT will be all over the place.
STOP is actually kind of nice, in that coming to a stop sign implies that
you're going to go again.
I suppose if I were going to bend the connotations, I'd rather see something
on the order of STORE or FREEZE or GENERATE or EMIT or ANALYZE or CHECKPOINT.
If you want something nicely ambiguous among all those ideas, there's CHECK,
which has connotations of STOP, ANALYZE, and CHECKPOINT.
But again, I think most people will never see one, and fewer people
will ever write one.
