[approx 300K snipped]
I appreciate the effort you have put into this, as I'm sure do many
of those that will directly benefit from it. Please be aware though
that multiple copies of a 300K patch sent to each of the thousands
of subscribers of p5p uses a lot of bandwidth.
Since this process seems to be going through a number of iterations,
can I suggest that you make revisions of this patch available either
through CPAN or through some WWW or FTP site you have access to? (If
you do not currently have a CPAN id, it is easy to get one: see
~CPAN/modules/04pause.html for details.)
If you decide to go down this route, I would strongly recommend
including in each filename:
- an identifier of this patch (eg 'apidocs')
- the Perl version this patch relates to
- a patch version number (at least for any revision after the first)
