__DIE__ for mere mortals
This discussion is really taking off.
How about us who only want to know if the current death occured
inside an eval, no matter if it's compiling or executing ?
That is, even if $^S is undefined I want to doctor @_ and send it
to STDOUT _except_ if I'm inside an eval.
Why is this not possible today ?
Is it just that $^S semantics happened to start out this way,
and now we're locked in, or is it impossible to determine during
compilation wheter the compile was called from an eval ?
