rebase

• Alternative: Instead of rebasing topic, try this:

      git branch topic-rebased topic
      git checkout topic-rebased
      git rebase master

• Now you can compare topic and topic-rebased to see if you like the result

• Shortcut:

      git checkout -b topic-rebased
      git rebase master
