Your web page describing the 2004 Ig Nobel awards says, in part:

Daniel Simons of the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign and Christopher Chabris of Harvard
University, for demonstrating that when people pay close
attention to something, it's all too easy to overlook anything
else -- even a man in a gorilla suit.

However, the Simons - Chabris paper credits the gorilla as being named
"Elisa Cheng", which suggests that it is not a man in a gorilla suit
at all, but a woman.

Scientifically yours,

Mark Dominus
